Surgical Emergencies

In my practice the diagnoses, management and operation of surgical emergencies are usually managed laparoscopically with a key hole procedure.

Conditions that I specialise in include acute abdominal pain, acute appendicitis, acute adhesions, acute cholecystitis,incarcerated hernias, bowel obstruction, emergency presentation of bowel cancers, stomas, peritonitis and trauma surgery.

You should immediately attend your nearest Accident and Emergency department for assessment/stabilisation and then make contact to assess the feasibility of emergency imaging and or surgery, which may necessitate transfer to another surgical facility.
